RectorSeal® No. 5® Special pipe thread sealant is a variation of the basic RectorSeal® No. 5 formulation. For use where a low odor sealant with low temperature application is required.- Lead free and contains no other metals
- Soft setting, slow drying
- Brushable from 20 to 140 deg F
- Will not dry out in the can
- Multi-purpose wide range of service uses
- Immediate pressurization on pipe up to 2 in and 100 psi
- For pressure up to 12000 psi (liquids) and 2600 psi (gases)
- Smooth easy application
- Permits easy break out with no damage to threads
- Economical requires only a small amount
- Reduces friction to allow tighter joint makeup
