Description
Sioux Chief standard density PTFE pipe thread tape exceeds MIL Spec T-27730A and shall be used for all industrial applications including water, oil, chemical, medical and food processing where non-contamination standards are high. Use on all types of threaded fittings for passage of water, potable and non-potable, most chemicals, oxygen, gas, hydraulic and high pressure lines.- White 100% virgin polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)

- Incompatibility - Avoid using molten alkali, certain halogen products and fluorine at high temperatures and pressures
- When heated over 500 deg F, material will thermally degrade and decompose producing toxic fumes
